Victoriana WordPress Theme

Theme Options
This is an old-Victorian style theme. I actually found a picture of one of those old leather-topped desks with a deep green (or it had been once) leather, and there was an old leather-bound book resting on it. That gave me the idea.
This WordPress Theme is a two-column theme with theme options on the backend. As you can see from the screenshot to the right, the ‘Victoriana Options’ appear in the Appearance section. Clicking it leads you to the theme options page.

Theme Options - Sidebars
As you can see from the screenshot above, you can choose which side you want the sidebar to be placed on. Once updated, it is ready to go immediately.

Theme Options - Font
You can set the global font style in the theme options too, as you can see above. This sets the font throughout the theme, with one exception – the images that are the post titles and sidebar titles (although the sidebar titles don’t work when you use widgets).

Theme Options - Colours
With lots of people asking me to add this kind of option in, this theme lets you select a variety of colours. In this case it’s the two main colours for sidebar background and post background, and the two link colours.
The theme has been tested and built on WordPress 2.8.4 and presumably works with others in the same development line although this is not tested. The platforms that it has been successfully tested on are: FireFox 3.5, Opera 9.64, IE7/8, Safari.
