Unlike the WordPress Theme, the BBPress Theme is not a ‘premium’ content theme, and is offered for free. It is a three column theme but because of the slight limitations of BBPress, doesn’t have an admin backend and so can’t be configured as easily or widely as the WordPress Theme.

Nevertheless it’s a nice solid theme and is easy to use. The normal procedures apply when downloading and installing it. Try for yourself and grab it from the release page: Ikon BBPress Theme.

That’s not the point of this post though. As you may have noticed I have finally integrated the bbpress install (that for many months since it was installed, has not been used). This theme on the site/blog has been ported over to the bbpress install, and blended in fully.

This is just one example of a custom bbpress theme of course, my personal site also has one that I will be working on. But, it’s a good example of the work I can do.
