This is a WordPress 2.7-tested theme, built for my own personal blog and will probably be upgraded a lot in the near future. It is not necessarily a theme for beginners but I think it can be used by a newcomer to WordPress if they’re not planning on modifying anything. It is fairly easy to use and alter, clearly with a pink/purple colouring, and look.
Built from the ground up it incorporates all the usual aspects of a WordPress theme, but built specifically for WordPress 2.7. It is backwards-compatible with WordPress 2.6. The threaded comments that were introduced with 2.7 revert back to the old style with prior versions, so it works just fine with both.
The theme uses the jquery library to enact several effects, with several more coming soon. The sidebar sections are collapsible up and down, and the arrows on the headers of each section indicate the way the slide will function when clicked. The other bit of eye candy is the information box on each post; click the pink ‘i’ information graphic and it opens and closes the information box.
