This is a WordPress 2.6.2-tested theme. It is designed to be VERY simple, there are very few graphics in it. It is a variable width (percentage based) theme, easy to view and play with. It is a theme for both beginner and medium user alike, very easy to modify to your own purposes, nice pleasant colours, and look. It is gravatar-ready, widget-ready, and SEO-friendly.
It’s a two column theme, sidebar on the right as you can see from the screenshot above - click the screenshot to go to one of my test blogs with the theme in action. Play around with the comments and such, to see what they look like.
The theme has been tested with WordPress 2.6.2 and presumably works with others in the same development line.
Originally this was designed with the Event Calendar plugin in mind (not to be confused with the Events Calendar plugin), basically forming the theme around it. But as I styled the calendar more I realised it would be just as good with the normal calendar.

I would love to find out how to put the calendar in my theme as you did, excellent work. I am trying to do the same to provide release dates for games. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Site: http://www.xboxjedi.com

There is normal calendar function to call:
Then just style it using the standard #wp-calendar ids and methods.
