Ok I just finished up an easy enough theme. I had been playing around with background-attachment for a little while, and found Steve Rider’s ComplexSpiral Redux which was updating Eric Meyer’s Complexspiral CSS demonstration. I have given them both the credit they deserve, all I did was convert it over to a WordPress theme.
This is a two-column WordPress theme, although basically just one since the sidebar is solely used for the menu and theme switcher (assuming you have it). There is a README.txt file with the release, I suggest you read it just in case. There is NO #sidebar, thus no visible blogroll, unless you follow the instructions and read the comments.
Anyway you can find it in action here using the theme switcher. Download link is below.
Installation
First, this theme requires WordPress 1.5+ Once you have downloaded the theme, unzip it and:
- Upload the unzipped theme to your
wp-content/themes/directory. - Enter your Admin panel -> Presentation and select the theme.
Frequently Asked Questions
None so far! It is a simple unzip, install and off you go. You can edit the theme as you wish (it IS commented a little bit). If you have any questions, you can comment here, or you can go over to the WordPress Forums where I started a Drive Theme thread.
