Yeah it's pretty poor, and they really need the help. Surprising that simple things like sustainable agriculture programs like that aren't more widespread in such areas though.

Nice job rich.

John Raul is in the Philippines and he has given me a video tour of his neighborhood. I have to say that I was shocked at the way they live. I didn't realize how poor the area was. I was in my place thinking just how lucky I was and how so many things that I took for granted.

Well you have to force yourself when it pays the rent. Plus I think a major factor is loving what you do, which happily, I do.

Also, notice I'm recoding this theme too!

I read your site and I understand where you are coming from and most of your points are probably correct, however my one point of concern (being a British born Nigerian gainfully employed in the UK and involved in business with Nigeria) is that you say nothing legal has come out of Lagos or Nigeria. However as much as I agree that fraud is rampant in that side of the world. It is also a thriving business centre with a high number of multinationals now strategically placing themselves there for higher returns on investment than can be obtained in developed contries at the moment. Putting blanket statements like the one above makes it hard for people like me who are law abiding business men trying to operate from cities like lagos. I however am not condoning these low lifes, I just request that sweeping, general statements are kept to a minimum.

Those trousers are deadly! Yeah, I fell onto the bed, and off it, trying to get a pair of jeans on just the other week.

I agree. How many times have you been 'dancing' around with one leg in and one leg out of your pair of trousers? I have and I've lost count how many times I nearly head butted the wall or fallen over.
Flying is definitely safer :-)
