This past week I have been working on a new theme that was meant to be a bit of a departure from my multi-columned themes I’ve been finding myself working on. Simple. Two columns. That’s what I wanted, that’s what I’ve got.
The working prototype can be found on my testblog.
This theme is now ready for use. I have decided to release it freely, so please test it out. All of the major sidebar functionality is written in, and it is widgetised.
Installation
First, this theme requires WordPress 2.0+ (it is coded, and tested, on 2.2*). Once you have downloaded the theme, unzip it and:
- Upload the unzipped theme to your
wp-content/themes/directory. - Enter your Admin panel -> Presentation and select the theme.
Frequently Asked Questions
None so far! It is a simple unzip, install and off you go. You can edit the theme as you wish (it IS commented a little bit). Please read the README file included with the release, it tells you parts that you might to alter. If you have any questions, you can comment here, or you can go over to the WordPress Forums.
Terms of Use
Except where otherwise noted, this software is:
- Copyright Richard Dows
- Licensed under the terms of the CC/GNU GPL
