This project involved taking a Photoshop PSD file and chopping it up, and creating a unique WordPress theme from it. The contact at was clear about what he wanted, quick to respond to questions, and very well informed about WordPress and its capabilities.

The theme itself is a two-column WordPress theme, nothing fancy or special about that, but it has a unique system of displaying the posts on the front page, utilising the custom fields that you can add with each post.

Vir Magazine’s blog is using several plugins and one of them, the cform II contact form plugin was very easy to work with (my first time) and straightforward to customise.

As usual I have created the theme to have built-in SEO capabilities, this is something that I have been adding in to all of my WordPress themes for some time now.
