Casting your eye around for new challenges and replacements for languages that are found to be wanting, you might want to just take a look at Ruby for Rails. That being said, like many companies or developers who just don’t have the time you should think about companies that offer Ruby on Rails services.
So I do have to think what advantages Ruby on Rails actually gives me - well for one the amount of code to write is far less, and doesn’t require configuration files; a web application built with Ruby on Rails only needs the web server and a database (with lots of support for a variety of databases).
If you are stuck for time, and need something that can replace a usual language like Java that you use, then you should seriously consider a firm that specialises in Ruby on Rails development - I am!
