Search Engine Optimisation

The English Guy offers search engine optimisation as one of its services.
This isn’t one of those companies that offer out-of-date advice like ‘add META tags’ or some such nonsense. This is real advice based on experience gained over many years of coding websites across the United States and the United Kingdom.
Search engine optimisation isn’t just about adding a few bits here and there to a website and expecting it to be in the top search results next week. The process involves completely retooling your website, to ensure that all the search engines (and not just Google) will find your website and rate it accurately.
The entire purpose of search engine optimisation is to tailor your website to focus on a set of keywords. An example might be a hat maker, focusing on ‘bowler hat’, ‘fedora’, ‘beret’, ‘panama hat’, and so on. Our job would be to enhance your website to ensure that the search engines picked up your website as one of the most relevant sources of information for those keywords. Hence, search engine optimisation.
If you are interested in having your website appear in the top search results for your keyword, please contact me and enquire about our services (use the link in the site header).
For examples of my work with SEO:
- GRS Sign Company Ltd., - recoded this site when it was pagerank 0 and generating 100 hits/day - now just a year later it has pagerank of 4 and generates 15,000 hits/day
- The Snood Factory - created solely for selling one product this SEO-friendly site now has a pagerank of 4
- 1st Alert Drainage Services - a local drainage service all of its traffic now comes from search engines with the keywords being the ones we focused on
- Balanced News Blog - a site that now generates 7,500 - 10,000 hits/day - a large proportion of its traffic comes from search engines. This site was built from the ground up to focus on SEO
