For work we have this thing every year where everyone buys a Christmas gift for around £5. They buy it for the same sex, and then we pick out of a hat who it goes to, so it’s totally random. I’m having a bit of a crisis because I cannot for the life of me find a gift. I don’t mind if it goes a few quid over (or under!).
Anyone got any good ideas? This isn’t “serious” per se, it’s for a laugh, the work crew you know…

Well I managed to find something! Thankfully it was just at the £5 mark, and it’s a brain teaser puzzle, so it should do.

I have experienced a similar thing at work in the past too. The trick is in knowing the personality of the person who you are buying for. Either buy something that they would really like, or something really funny (or embarrassing). There is no real middle ground here. You can always check out these Christmas Gift Baskets for some ideas for real presents, though a fiver probably wouldn’t cut it.
