Today at work I heard an interesting tidbit of information. The person in question said that running your heating all day long is more efficient than running it at preset times. So say I have it on for 30 minutes in the morning, and then for 2 hours at night - would it honestly be better running it at a lower temperature all day long instead?

Not sure what the thought is on that, I mean I can see why running it lower would save some energy, but only if you had it on all day previously at a higher temperature anyway.

What are your thoughts on this? I’ve looked at ’s website, and ’s and there’s nothing on this, wondered if anyone else has found any savings this way?
