Trying Out IE7
Tuesday October 24, 2006
Since lately, it seems that a lot of people I know are trying out new things (re: Diane and her experiment with MT - Diane, I say experiment because I sincerely hope you see the light and come back to the WP fold), I thought I’d try something new tonight.
Yes, I’m trying IE7.
Two things so far; 1) there is no www.microsoft.com/ie7/ ? That seems like an oversight to me, Microsoft should have had that right up front. 2) bringing up new tabs seems a tad slow (at least in comparison to FF)
Actually, the interface is quite nice, smooth and clean, and I like it about as much as I like the FF interface which I’ve used for well, ever since FF came out. We’ll see how well this turns out. I need to get used to the browser anyway, since I’m sure I’ll have some CSS issues to work out with work. May as well get it over and done with …
Update: Other problems: in WP, opening up the trackback box in the admin section when posting a post, doesn’t open enough to let you see the input box. Weird order of choosing the tabs when closing one, I think I need to investigate that more.
