Today was one of those Mondays you grow to love, it whizzed by so quickly I can barely remember what happened. First of all I spent the entire day on my feet, working downstairs vinyling up signs. I had one or two minor problems but all in all, several jobs finished and bam that was it, 5pm came round with Olie and I putting a major dint into another big job.

Got home, tried to fix my computer’s browsing problem (which I just did). I then proceeded to cook a blood-rare steak, garlic sauteed broccoli, and tagliateli. Yum! The red wine is just the topping, which you know I can’t just leave a bottle half drunk…

The news was not so encouraging today, for the most part. At least some guy and his family had a good day, he got released by Nigerian kidnappers. The usual bad news of the Iraqi civil war police action and how and when we should get out (I said when this all started that this would be another Vietnam…). Our government is seriously thinking about charging people travelling on our roads - makes me ask the question though - why do we pay taxes on petrol (not that I do, I don’t have a car)?

And the last news which may spell the end of Western society as we know it - a contraceptive pill that ends periods and PMT.
