Great news! The Iraqi court trying Saddam and his cronies are thinking of announcing the verdicts on the 5th of November! How coincedental, because we happen to have a lot of bonfires ready for that very same day :)

That the ‘nation’ of Iraq is undergoing a tiny bit of a civil war right now doesn’t seem to be a problem. I’m sure that there are plenty of Iraqis on both sides of the conflict police action (sorry, American euphemism creeping in there) that would happily get a bit of piano wire ready for Saddam.

I just wonder though, in centuries to come, will the Iraqi people (if indeed Iraq exists as a nation then) will look back at this time and celebrate the death of Saddam and his overthrow?
