I thought at the beginning of last week, I’ll have next Monday off, have a nice long weekend. That seemed fine until Friday when I got some throat bug. Had a headache ever since, throat is sore and I have a chest cold now too. What a great weekend.

Anyway, the old adage, ’starve a fever, feed a cold’ seemed to be some good advice. I thought I’d eat well today. Went down to the store to get a few things, eggs, cheese, bacon, etc., I was browsing the eggs and remembering someone telling me about free range eggs and how they tasted better, thought I’d splash out and treat myself.

Got home, opened up the box and took out four of the eggs. Two however, seemed stuck in there. I tried to pull out out, it splattered all over me as I cracked the shell. The other one, I thought I’d be more careful with it, seemed to be stuck on the cardboard. I pulled harder and pulled part of the shell leaving the yolk and white in the carton. Great…
