Well, at least that’s what I’m planning. And by ‘relaxing’ I mean doing nothing! The Grand Prix is on, so I think that’ll be high on the agenda. I was going to make an Irish stew today (and have the remainder tomorrow) but I think I’ll just do it tomorrow instead. Laziness prevails!
Of course, as usual, I forgot to take in the washing and waking up today I see that it rained overnight. Great. One of these days I’ll remember to take it in.
My sister gave birth last night to a beautiful baby girl, 6lbs, called Chloe May. Great news!
So today what have I been looking at? Yes I know it’s early in the morning…
- UK hospitals are rife with ‘hypervirulent’ infection. 49 dying in 9 months is getting pretty dire I’d say.
- Apparently the Pope played a leading role in covering up child abuse. No way? And here we thought he’d got to the top by being Mr. Perfect.
- The Daily Mail is now comparing Afghanistan to Vietnam, saying British troops are in a quagmire there.
- More controversy over Princess Diana’s death as a key witness says he saw a dozen ’shady figures’ in the tunnel that night. What precisely is a ’shady figure’?
My questions for the day: Christa where is your blog? Mel, again, once a month?!
And lastly, thanks to Diane, I took the Adult Industry Job Quiz. Apparently, I made ‘V-i-agra Dealer‘ (I split that apart ‘cos I don’t want google AdSense picking up on it). Woo!
