And by that I mean, it’s bloody raining.
What a surprise. I used to laugh when my american friends always associated england with rain, and joked along with them. Not so funny when you’re in it. I walked out the gate this morning and it was almost pictoresque, the clouds rolling above me, and the rising sun giving everything a warm orange hue.
Stood at the end of the road waiting for my ride, and the heavens opened up. Thankfully I was wearing suitable attire, I’d seen the weather reports saying it would rain later on. And by later on I assumed it meant sometime in the afternoon, not 5 minutes after I walk outside…
Lots of work to do today, printing, cutting, vinyling, etc., Catching up on the web statistics too, seeing what articles are popular at work, talking to the bosses and seeing if they want anything writing on the company blog. Then later on tonight finishing up a website for a local plumber, and getting paid too hopefully.
Lastly, I got myself registered for the electoral register, sent it in. So now I will be able to vote Labour out (not all by myself mind you) and hopefully vote a lesser evil in (let’s face it, if the choice were Beelzebub and Blair, the guy with two horns is looking awfully attractive right now…).
