For work I have been asked to look for a small portable handheld computer (PDA preferably) that will allow the managers to write down notes on various subjects such as ordering, pricing, customers and so on, that will allow those notes to be transmitted between them and saved in a central server location when docked.

Now I have an old Palm PDA from years back but I haven’t used one much myself for some time, so I was wondering if anyone who is reading this does, and has some suggestions as to getting the right one?

What is NOT needed, or necessary, is any smartphone capability, or fancy extras and gimmicks, cameras and so on. Although I’m sure that the phone, audio, and GPS might be useful and could be used if I could persuade them, it is not something needed right now.
