It’s been a long day

So I won’t talk about one thing, just a few things I’ve found on my browsing tonight. I spent all day on my feet (working, mind you) and my back hurts, I could use a good masseuse. I sat down on my couch, had some stew, watched some footie, drank some gin and tonic and went surfing. Here’s what I’ve found that, as my friend Diane would say, blew my skirt up (’cept I don’t actually have skirts):
- Ultra-rich Buffet gives away $40Bn; hey Warren, I only want a tiny bit of that…
- Whitehouse confirms troop-cut option; why does this sound more and more like newsreels I’ve seen of the 1960’s Johnson/Nixon?
- Cell-phone signals excite brain; no way? And here I am thinking that high-power microwaves next to my head would be harmless…
- Pelicans held on suspicion of being drunk; hehe, that’s a headline I won’t be forgetting.
- Two ‘Potter’ characters will die. Boo. Hoo.
- NY Times accused of treason; for revealing super-secret counter-terrorism programs - isn’t this what a free press is supposed to do?
