I have to sympathize with , she’s been in a spot of hot water lately over some pictures.

The strange this is that until people knew the pictures existed she was apparently “excellent art teacher with a knack for helping students find their creativity”. Then, her self-published photos on flickr.com came to light and she was escorted from her class as she was called an “ineffective teacher”.

I wonder how someone suddenly becomes ineffective simply because someone finds some photographs of you? Admittedly they were of her naked and semi-naked, but then again I must ask myself, what if I posted photographs of myself when I was two months old and naked? Would they make me ineffective?

It’s not like she was parading them round class either, or displaying them on the school notice board. She hadn’t violated any laws, she hadn’t even violated any school by-laws. But the school district wants to revoke her teaching license, effectively ending her teaching career.

What a shame that an artist, which she is, cannot portray the human body as a beautiful objet d’art…
