Finally! I have broadband. Got home from work today to find my modem delivered and waiting.
Now, here’s the real kicker about this. I’m used to American broadband. It’s on, period. You don’t have to mess around with anything, it’s always on. The problem that I have found with this broadband, Tiscali broadband, is that it’s like 56k dialup was in the US. I have to “dial” up to broadband! I hope I don’t get any line charges from BT for this. I’m going to be pissed if I do.
Anyway, it’s nice to have Internet at last. Now I can blog away to my heart’s content. Oh yes, and do my shopping online, become a true mouse potato etc.,
