I have to say that today, after reading a little snippet in the Daily Mail about Iran purchasing long-range missiles that can now reach Europe, I am a little more worried than I was about the crazy regime in Iran.

There’s a lot of chatter about it in the blogosphere of course, a lot of it echoing my own sentiments, so I’ll just add my own two cents to the din. Like a friend of mine over at In The Bullpen, I get tired of hearing the usual Muslim sentiments of “by the grace of God” or “God willing”. It was spywork, it was money, it was influence that got you your nuclear technology Mr Ahmadinejad, nothing more.

As for defying the UN Security Council, like we didn’t expect you to do THAT, eh?

You can find the full report at Vital Perspective.

My Pet Jawa mentions the economic impact of sanctioning Iran’s caviar trade, but a measly $158 million isn’t going to discourage them from nuclear activities. And still, no-one asks the questions about Iran’s power, if they have all that oil, what do they need nuclear power for?

And, California Conservative has an amusing take on it, suggesting President Bush send in Cindy Sheehan. ;) At least the Americans can say when they bomb Natanz and Cindy’s protesting/visiting there, they’ll be getting rid of two pains in the ass!

Even though I predict things will go bad, I hope The Glittering Eye’s outlook, that the EU3 and Russia can salvage something from this, will come true. But honestly, I think this is just going to get worse.
