I am going on a trip to England on Wednesday, from Orlando via Chicago. It’s ostensibly for a Christening of my niece and nephew, but I haven’t been home in several years so it’s also to see the rest of my family and catch up.

It will be a long journey and to make things a little worse, although I get into London at 9am, it will in reality be 4am my time, so I’ll be really tired, probably have little sleep on the plane, and then having to get a train up to where my parents are.

And perhaps to make matters worse, I’ll be going from mid-80F’s weather to mid-50F’s weather in the UK. Ick! I’m taking two sweaters just in case. I hope there’s somewhere I can buy a watchcap or something!

So anyway if I don’t write until Friday, you’ll understand why. In the meantime there are three custodians of this blog, Diane, Mel and David. I’m sure that if I don’t post for a day or two, or leave it until Saturday they make write something. Just no graffiti, ‘k guys? ;)
