Have you ever been in a crowded place, say an elevator, movie theater, subway etc., and someone gets a phone call or should i say, twenty people get phone calls, and jabber on and on as if no-one else were near? That’s why this device, the cellphone jammer (hat tip: Gizmodo) will one day be the ultimate gadget.

I can foresee possible restrictions of course, but I can also foresee that this beautiful device will be really abused (and by the vast majority of us). But then again, hasn’t the cellphone been really abused? It’s ubiquitous now, I only know of one other person who doesn’t have one. Even I’m thinking of the need for one now.

Anyway, the cellphone jammer won’t be here for a while yet, it’s only just been released in Japan, and is waiting on FCC licensing.
