I saw this film the other night, and now I hear that it has been nominated several times for Oscars. I am happy to say that I agree with that, the acting was excellent, the general feel of the movie and the “flow” from beginning to end was flawless. Not once did I check my watch, or think of something better to do (which is a good indicator of a good/great movie). George Clooney got the best director and best screenwriter nods for it (and also as best actor in Syriana, which was another good movie). Finally, David Strathairn, who played Murrow in “Good Night, and Good Luck.“, got a nod, which I think he should win. I’ve always admired him, a great actor in everything I’ve seen him in, would be nice to see him win.
