I was sat here thinking about New Years Resolutions, and how basically I have few vices left to give up (let alone WANTING to give up). I gave up smoking several years ago now, after seeing a friend of mine on the post-op table. I gave up drinking (heavily) a while back now, actually when I left University. But maybe I shouldn’t be giving something up, but rather setting my mind to doing something?

So I think I’m going to do something practical with a resolution this year, I’m going to learn Flash once and for all. I’ve experimented with it over the years, messed around with a few applications, and I’ve always wanted to spend the time to really get into it. Yeah I know, it’s geeky, but here’s a gastronomic tip - bite me :)

Anyway, I found something humorous to go along with this. It appears that we Brits aren’t exactly good at keeping our New Years Resolutions - a Yahoo! News article I found today reveals research made for Carpe Diem an astonishing 64% of Brits say they’ll drop their resolution within a month of making it! The Belgians are the best at sticking to theirs…
