You needs facts, which the papers don't bother with: The mosque is being built by Muslims without any assistance from the government. In fact, the council originally put so many conditions and barriers to the mosque being built that it took ages before the work was even started. The original building of this mosque had nothing to do with the Olympics, and still doesn't. It's called opportunism that the papers have linked it to the Olympics in order to make Muslims look bad.
