Am I seeing things correctly? Russia’s United Russia, the majority party in Russia, has said that it has plans to join the European Democratic Union in the near future? Perhaps feeling left out in the cold (no pun intended) is slowly edging Russia into the world affairs sidelines? Europe is going on, the Cold War behind them, forging a new union that they hope will counter Chinese and American power in the near century, so is (United-) Russia realizing that Europe is its only salvation?
