North Korea Contemplating Nuclear Test
Monday April 25, 2005
Worryingly, it has been reported that N. Korea is readying itself to perform nuclear tests. S. Korea has warned N. Korea against this action. Was this accurate reporting by Americans, or disinformation and conjecture? The proof of the pudding of course, will be shown when they actually do it, and sensors pick up the dangerous isotopes created by a nuclear explosion. Typical N. Korean propaganda comes back with the “we’re doing this because of American aggression”, and not only that but the N. Koreans refuse to re-join 6-party multilateral talks, insisting on one-on-one dialogue with the US, although they have agreed to talk to S. Korea at least. This blogger feels China is not pressuring their trade partner enough, but thinks that when nuclear isotopes start drifting across its lands, water, crops and people, it might rethink its sympathies for N. Korea.
